*2. School Tour Info - You've been hearing about it... we've been working on it... we're so excited ... it's almost here...  our annual "School Tour."  MMSD Middle School and High School students have no school on this day. Students who have school this day should be sure to make arrangements with your individual teachers regarding assignments, absences, etc.

Yonim's 7th annual School Tour will be Friday, November 14, 2008. This has consistently been one of Yonim's most popular events and is sure to be a huge success again this year. During these troubled times in Israel, it is a privilege and a mitzvah for Yonim to act as a cultural emissary, fostering positive associations with Israel rather than violence and hatred.
All Yonim dancers will be able to share their love of music, dancing and cultural enrichment with their friends and other students. Yonim has accepted invitations to perform at three schools: Lowell, Leopold, and Midvale. Yonim has rented a school bus to travel from school to school. Dancers should arrive in costume (slip on shoes are a plus for this day) with their tie die Yonim t-shirts on top for costume protection and easy identification by School Tour Staff. Dancers should bring a sack lunch, snack and water bottle (all disposable items, please). Please put dancer's name on their t-shirt tag (and wear over costumes to keep them clean, and before eating or drinking).

   *3. Chanukkah Chagigah
The location for this performance has been changed by the organizers to Oakwood Village Auditorium (6205 Mineral Point Rd). Yonim dancers need to arrive at 1:30 in their tye dye shirts and nice jeans. The program is from 2:00 - 3:20ish. This is a great venue for picture taking as there is a black floor and black curtains.
